What is the full process for ordering individual resumes?
The process is simple: (1) Choose your resume and/or additional resume services
(2) Call/email us about previous work experience or email/fax your most recent resume (3) Answer our personalized work experience questions geared to enhance your skills set**no cookie cutter questionnaires here, our questions are geared specifically to YOU ** (4) Receive your professional personalized resume in our guaranteed time frame!How long does it take to get my resume back?
Once we receive your initial work experience, we email or call you (your preference) with a list of questions within 24 hours. Once the personalized resume enhancement questions are answered we return your completed resume within our standard time frame of 5 - 7 business days.
24-Hour and 48-Hour rush services are also available at an additional cost.
What if I'm not satisfied?
All of our resumes and resume services are backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee! It is our goal to make sure that every client is fully satisfied and provided with exceptional resume products as well as excellent customer service. Why is there a price difference based on work experience?
Because all of our resumes are designed by individual professional resume consultants instead of generic auto-generating software, personal time and research goes into each resume. It is our pledge to ensure our best efforts go into every resume. More work experience and higher professional levels generally mean more time, research, and evolvement.
Do you have a list of pre-defined questions to start the process?
No. At Resume Consulting Firm, LLC we believe that every individual has different work experiences that need to be promoted and that a standard generic questionnaire wont capture individualized experiences that make resumes most powerful. Once we know more specifically about your experience, industry, and the position(s) you are pursuing then we ask skill enhancement questions.
Where are your offices located?
Because we offer business and group services, a large portion of our time is spent on client sites which would afford very little office time, and with our individual resume services largely email and telephone based, we have determined that home offices are more practical (although meetings can be arranged). The exclusion of offices, and associated office costs also helps us keep our services affordable eliminating costs which would otherwise be transferred to our clients.
Can I change my career path or industry?
Absolutely. We specialize in transitional and promotional resumes. We are expert at making your current skills transfer to skills of another job or industry and likewise designing your skills to take you to the next level professionally.
Is my information kept confidential?
You can be 100% assured that we will keep all of your personal information and resume services confidential. Your information is backed-up on our secure servers and Resume Consulting Firm, LLC does not provide any outside parties with any client information.
How would I get my resume updated?
Get your resume updated FREE of charge at any time within the revision period of your resume and/or package purchase. If you gain additional work experience, develop new affiliations, or any updates at all, we will include it with the same superior service as your original resume. All resumes include 30-day storage and unlimited standard revisions; adding packages extends the revision period.
How do I get a replacement resume if it is lost or misplaced?
We will resend you the electronic version of your resume FREE of charge within the storage period of your resume and/or package purchase if you lose or misplace it. All resumes include 30-day storage and unlimited standard revisions; adding packages extends the storage period.
Will I get my resume in electronic format?
Yes! All resume services come in two formats, as a Microsoft Office word file and also as an Adobe PDF file.
High quality laser prints on professional grade resume paper can also be purchased separately, or is included with any resume package purchase.
What is the pricing for group services?
Pricing is dependent on the services requested and the size of the group. We can package different products and services to meet almost any budget and meet the specific needs of any group. Our group pricing is very competitive and the larger the group the bigger the discounts.
How do group services work?
Choose any of our group packages or have a package specially customized for your group by one of our groups sales representatives. We do presentations, teach lessons, give on-the-spot resume critiques, and more, and for your convenience we come to you!
How do "job-tailoring revisions" differ from other revisions?
Job-tailoring revisions are revisions to your resume made specifically to cater to a particular job within a specific company in order to present your skills as a more perfect fit to what that company is seeking. It is interest holding tactic. Other resume revisions are geared to add overall improvements to a resume, but without a specific employer in mind. Visit Resume Services page for more info.
In what states do you provide services?
Our individual resume services can be bought online from anywhere within the continental United States. We do not provide Canada or International sales.
